Different Pathways Panel

As Creative Director for The Building Bloc, I led the development and execution of Different Pathways, a thought-provoking panel discussion in conjunction with Charlton Athletic Football Club. This event was designed to explore the diverse career opportunities within the sports industry, providing young people with valuable insights into roles beyond traditional athletic careers.

I spearheaded the planning and curation of the panel, securing a diverse lineup of industry professionals from sectors such as sports media, marketing, coaching, management, and data analytics. My role extended to moderating the discussion, ensuring an engaging and insightful conversation that addressed key topics like breaking into the industry, transferable skills, and the evolving landscape of non-playing roles in sports.

By fostering an interactive and dynamic space, Different Pathways gave young attendees the opportunity to connect with experts, ask questions, and gain practical knowledge about alternative careers in sports. This initiative underscored The Building Bloc’s mission to bridge the gap between underrepresented talent and industry opportunities, equipping the next generation with the tools and inspiration to carve out their own paths in the sporting world.
