Kuro Sounds Festival 2025
Held in Kokrobite, Ghana, Kuro Sounds was an immersive fusion of music and cultural experiences, bringing together artists, storytellers, and audiences in a vibrant celebration of sound and heritage. As part of the core team, I oversaw logistics and creative direction, ensuring that every element of the event—from stage design to programming—reflected a cohesive narrative that honored both the music and the local culture. My role involved curating an experience that was not only sonically engaging but also deeply rooted in storytelling, allowing attendees to connect with the artists and the environment on a more profound level.
With a strong focus on talent management, I worked closely with performers to craft moments that felt both spontaneous and intentional, balancing high-energy sets with intimate, reflective performances. From coordinating schedules and facilitating seamless transitions between acts to ensuring artists felt creatively supported, my work contributed to an atmosphere where music wasn’t just heard—it was felt. Kuro Sounds was more than just an event; it was a cultural exchange, a space where tradition and innovation intersected, and a testament to the power of storytelling through sound.
